Solunar™ Hunting & Fishing Times provides all the features you need for a successful hunting or fishing trip. iSolunar™ combines the most accurate astronomical data from the US Naval Observatory with the time-tested Solunar Theory to provide you with the most comprehensive solunar tables, moon phase, and lunar data for your specific location.

The solunar tables generated by our solunar iPhone app include data for Major and Minor Feeding/Activity Periods, Day Rating, Moon Phase, Moonrise / Moonset times, and Sunrise / Sunset times. Plus, iSolunar™ provides current Weather conditions and a 4-day Forecast for the selected location. You can even send the solunar table results by email so you can share them with a friend.

LOCATION:

Using the built-in GPS function of your device, iSolunar™ automatically determines your current position and allows you to visually confirm your location on a map. Alternatively, iSolunar™ allows you to manually enter a location by searching by zip code or city and state/province. Save your favorite locations to reference for future hunting or fishing trips.

DAY RATING:

iSolunar™ provides you with a visual rating of the intensity of fish and game activity for your date and location (1 = Fair, 2 = Good, 3 = Better, 4 = Best). According to the Solunar Theory, feeding / activity intensity varies day to day through out the month with the moon phase – with “Best” activity occurring around a Full Moon and New Moon and “Fair” activity occurring around First Quarter and Last Quarter Moons.

SOLUNAR FEEDING / ACTIVITY PERIODS:

Based on your location, iSolunar™ will tell you the periods of each day (solunar tables) that fishing and hunting are most likely to be productive for the best hunting times and best fishing times. When Major or Minor Feeding and Activity Periods fall within 30 minutes of sunrise or sunset, be prepared for outstanding action!

CALENDAR:

The app's solunar calendar function allows you to check the solunar tables data for dates in the future so that you can plan your hunting or fishing trip for the optimal days and times. Version 2.1.1 now has the Day Rating directly on the month view ( 4 = Best, 3 = Better, 2 = Good, 1 = Fair). To check solunar times in the future, simply advance the calendar the desired date and click View Day Details.

WEATHER:

Stay abreast of the current weather conditions and a 4-day weather forecast for your location. iSolunar™ provides you with:

current conditions

temperature

wind speed

wind direction

Barometric pressure

plus a 4-day forecast.

TROPHY ROOM:

Save pictures and data from your hunting and fishing trip in the Trophy Room. The Trophy Room allows you to enter date, time, location, as well as data such as size and description of your trophy. Take a picture from within iSolunar or import a saved image from your phone. You can even share your iSolunar Trophy on Facebook (requires active Facebook account) or send via email.
